This page this dedicated those that gave glory to the Drag and no longer are here with us, so that their names are never forgottom because they dedicated there life to this great sport. Wally Parks was the great creator of the drag races he never imagine the contribution that towards a world-wide society with the sport of the acceleration. The first track of drag was Santa Ana drags in California and was the great beginning of the revolution of the acceleration. The first official race of NHRA was in April 1953 in the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds parking in Pomona, Calif.
